About TUISENCHHUAH LOCAL
Tuisenchhuah is located on the P.B. Road, situated between Zawlpui and Thenhlum. It used to be under the Thenhlum Pastorate, but it is now under the Zawlpui Pastorate. During the village regrouping caused by the Mizoram insurgency, Belkhai village was regrouped at Bunghmun 'W'. The family of Pu Vanchhingpuia, the main founder of the Tuisenchhuah Church, was also among those relocated there. When the regrouped villagers returned, instead of returning to Belkhai, they moved down to Tuisenchhuah. Pu Vanchhingpuia and his family were already members of the UPC, and Pu Lalriruaia also joined them (Pu Lalriruaia was the only member of his family in the UPC). On October 25, 1973, Pastor Lalhranga, the Pastorate Minister of Bunghmun, visited and officially organized the church. The leaders appointed were as follows:
| Chairman | : | Elder Vanchhingpuia |
| Secretary | : | Elder Lalriruaia |
When the church was organized, there were 11 members in total. Today, by God's grace, the membership has grown to over 90. Furthermore, besides being the founder, Pu Vanchhingpuia continues to serve as the key pillar of the church to this day.
The church members did not have a church building initially and held worship services at Pu Vanchhingpuia's house for a full 13 years. In 1986, the first church building was constructed. Because it was built only with bamboo walling, it did not last long and has been rebuilt three times. The current building they occupy was inaugurated and dedicated to God on January 14, 2006, by District Treasurer Rev. R. Lalrosanga, who had also laid the foundation stone at the beginning. For this occasion, Elder LH. Vanlalenga donated a pig, and the church members purchased another one, spending a time of rich spiritual and physical fellowship. This church building was constructed through a Work Camp organized by the Rahsiveng Section Missions Department. God blessed their ministry, resulting in the addition of many new members.
Current Status :
Since the beginning of 2023, an RCC church building measuring 60/28 feet has been under construction. Currently, there are 84 church members (as of 2025).
